Join us for these hands-on workshops designed to help you integrate
science, literacy, and Academic Standards.
Homeschool Parent & Child Workshops To register, please download and print a
registration form,
and send it with payment to: Educator Appreciation Day
Homeschool parents and their children in grades K-2 are invited to a
hands-on workshop exploring environmental education and literacy.
You’ll get take-home materials, encounter friendly zoo animals, and
meet children’s book author Mary Quigley. Advance registration is
required.
Fee: $10 per family (up to four people). Children must
be accompanied by adult.
Choose from two sessions:
March 7
9:00-11:00 a.m. at the zoo

May 1
9:00-11:00 a.m. at Kendallville Public Library

Calling all educators! Join us for Educator Appreciation Day
at the zoo. You'll experience in-depth workshops, participate
in animal observations, and enjoy refreshments and giveaways.
Teachers can receive two Professional Growth Plan (PGP) points for
participating in all the workshops. Admission to the event is
FREE for teachers, pre-service teachers, and homeschool parents
teaching grades preK-12. Sorry, free admission and activities
are not available for family members or guests.
