NEW!
Giraffe
Set your sights high! You'll be in awe as you stand
toe to toe with members of the giraffe herd in our state-of-the-art
Giraffe Barn in the African Village. Help keepers create a tasty
treat for the giraffes, try your hand at cleaning a stall, and see
how you measure up to the world's tallest mammal. A
truly unforgettable experience!
Available select Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. beginning April
21, 2012.
Fee (up to 4 people): $250 members; $275 nonmembers. Includes
Zoo Admission.
Penguin
Join keepers at feeding time in the penguin exhibit. Help the
zoo keepers deliver fish to the flock and fill out the penguins’
diet log book! Long pants recommended. Ages 8 and older
only.
Available select Saturdays and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
beginning April 21, 2012.
Fee (up to 2 people): $150 members; $175 nonmembers.
Includes Zoo Admission.
Giant Tortoise
Meet our gentle giants, Norbert and Purdue.
Deliver treats and help keepers rub oil on
their shells to keep them in tip top shape! Ages 8 and older
only.
Available select Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 a.m. beginning April
21, 2012.
Fee (up to 4 people): $150 members; $175 nonmembers. Includes
Zoo Admission.
Jellyfish
Calling all future marine biologists! Help our aquarists feed
the jellies, get a personalized tour of the aquarium workroom, and
touch a real jellyfish! Ages 8 and older only.
Available select Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 a.m. beginning April
21, 2012.
Fee (up to 4 people): $150 members; $175 nonmembers. Includes Zoo
Admission.
Orangutan
Get creative! Go behind the scenes with Tengku and Melati and
watch as they create a unique painting right before your eyes – then
take the painting with you for a one-of-a-kind home accent.
Ages 8 and older only.
Available select Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. beginning April 21, 2012.
Fee (up to 4 people): $350 members; $375 nonmembers. Includes
Zoo Admission.
Lion
Experience the ultimate adventure as you visit the lions’ den with a
zoo keeper!
Greet Bill and Ina in their indoor quarters, feed the cats
“meatballs” then
watch from a hidden viewing area as they enter their domain for the
day.
Ages 8 and older only.
Available select Saturdays and Sundays at 8:00 a.m. beginning April
21, 2012.
Fee (up to 4 people): $450 members; $475 nonmembers. Includes Zoo
Admission.

register in person at the zoo weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m..
Full payment is required at the time of registration.
Important information for your VIP
Experience
Closed-toed shoes are required; no sandals. Participants
agree to abide by zoo protocols when visiting behind the scenes as
instructed by zoo staff, including the use of protective masks,
handwashing, or other procedures. Ages 8 and older only.
No exceptions for stated maximum group size or age limits.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult (children may not
attend on their own) Fee includes zoo admission for
participants. You are free to explore the zoo on your own
during normal operating hours before or after your VIP Experience.
VIP Experiences are held rain or shine. You will receive confirmation. Openings are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment. Refunds (minus 10% processing fee) are available if you cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. No refund if you cancel less than 2 weeks in advance, but the zoo will make every effort to reschedule your VIP Experience. The zoo reserves the right to cancel any VIP Experience or offer an equivalent substitute at any time due to animal health or safety issues. In the event of a zoo cancellation a full refund will be offered.
