Drive You Wild Golf Outing 2007 - Another Success!
 The
Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo held its 6th annual Drive You Wild Golf
Invitational on September 18, 2007. One hundred and twelve people
enjoyed lunch provided by Classic Cafe, 18 holes of golf, “wild”
activities on each hole, and a wonderful dinner provided by the
Outback Steakhouse on North Clinton Street.
The Children’s Zoo is completely self-supporting. All costs of
operations, programs, and improvements are covered by earned revenue
and donations. Events like Drive You Wild are very important for the
future of the Zoo. This years’ event raised more than $24,000 for
the zoo’s education, conservation, and recreation programs. We would
like to thank all our sponsors, players, volunteers and all the
other individuals that made the 6th annual Drive You Wild a success!
