New Maze-A-Palooza
Now Open at the Zoo
Maze-A-Palooza, a family-friendly 1,000-square-foot maze, is now open at the
Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.
Located in the African Journey next to the Sky Safari ride, this special
temporary exhibit promises to challenge visitors of all ages with puzzles,
games, and brainteasers. Maze-A-Palooza features optical illusions,
mirrors, and clues to guide visitors through its colorful corridors. A
300-square-foot Mini-Maze waits nearby to accommodate young adventurers.
Families can also travel together across four large floor mazes on the site.
“At the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, we help our visitors connect with animals
and we help families connect with each other,” says Zoo Director Jim Anderson.
“When families are enjoying Maze-A-Palooza together at the zoo, they are
strengthening their family bond – and having fun, too!”
There is no additional charge for families to enjoy Maze-A-Palooza once they
have entered the zoo. The exhibit will remain at the zoo through September
1.
The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is one of the area’s major attractions and was
named one of the country’s “Ten Best Zoos for Kids” by Child magazine.
The zoo is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from April 19 until
October 12. Admission is $9.50 for adults, $6.50 for children age 2-14 and
$8.50 for seniors over age 60. Babies age 1 and under and Zoo Society
Members are admitted free.
