Who’s making all that noise?
The magpie jays are also amazing copycats. The birds seem very interested in the sounds made by zoo guests, and will try to imitate them. Sometimes they’re pretty accurate! Not only are the magpie jays noisy, they are always on the move. They hop about, pick up twigs, and are fun to watch. Magpie jays LaToya and Tito are brother and sister and have lived at the zoo for two years. Stop by on your next visit and say hello! Have you moved?
