Lion, Hyena Chats new for 2009

If you want to talk with zoo keepers and learn more about your favorite animals, check out the new Creature Features schedule for 2009! Each day through August 2, you can chat with keepers, enjoy live animal shows, and even talk to a SCUBA diver under water! New chats have been added this year, including lions, hyenas, and the chance to meet K'Zoo, the zoo's mascot! Click here to see the schedule or pick up a flyer at the main gate on your next visit.

Zoobilee 2009 - Goin' on Safari

Zoo & Australian Adventure Closing Early Friday, June 19

Australian Adventure will close at noon and the entire zoo will close at 4:00 p.m. as we prepare for Zoobilee, our sold-out gala fundraiser. If weather forces a relocation of the event to the zoo parking lot, the Australian Adventure may remain open. In either case, we want our guests to be informed in advance. We appreciate your understanding – thanks!

Hours and Prices

The zoo is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until October 11, 2009.
The African Journey exhibit is NOW OPEN!

Admission is $12.00 for adults, $8.00 for children age 2-14 and $10.00 for seniors age 60 and over. Babies age one and under and Zoo Society Members are admitted free.
