This weekend is your last chance to visit the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo until April – the zoo closes for the season at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14.

Get one last look at Jafari, the baby giraffe—he’ll be much bigger when you see him next spring! Enjoy a final ride on the Sky Safari. Catch one more Sea Lion Training show. Say goodbye to the goats before they return to the dairy farm for the winter. Gather enough zoo memories to last until April 19, when the zoo opens for the 2008 season!

 
Great Zoo Halloween Opens October 19

As soon as the animals are tucked into their winter homes, the most amazing pumpkin extravaganza in Fort Wayne opens at the zoo: the Great Zoo Halloween! We’ve got hundreds of painted pumpkins, and more than 500 jack-o-lanterns will line the zoo pathways. You’ll recognize some of your favorite storybook, movie, and TV characters in our pumpkin scenes. And best of all, kids get a bag stuffed with yummy Halloween treats!

Admission to the Great Zoo Halloween is not covered by your Zoo Membership unless you joined at the Zoo Booster, Safari Club, Director’s Circle, or King of the Jungle level.
